Obszön: EU kauft Amtssitz in New York für 18.000.000 US-Dollar

Weit über 18 Millionen US-Doller oder 16,7 Millionen Euro für einen 543 Quadratmeter großen Amtssitz: Das ist das obszöne Angebot, das der Auswärtige Dienst der EU für das zukünftige Stadthaus des Leiters der EU-Delegation bei den Vereinten Nationen abgegeben hat.
Am Montag, 20. Juni 2022, soll der Haushaltsausschuss des EU-Parlaments die Ausgabe des Auswärtigen Dienstes durchwinken.
Darauf macht der haushaltspolitische Sprecher der AfD-Delegation im EU-Parlament, Joachim Kuhs, aufmerksam und kündigt an:
„Ich stimme dagegen! Erstens treten wir für ein Europa der Nationen und Vaterländer ein, die beispielsweise wirtschaftlich zusammenarbeiten, aber trotzdem frei und unabhängig agieren können. Denkt man diesen zukunftsträchtigen Ansatz weiter, würde die EU keine Vertretung in New York haben.
Zweitens dürften 18.000.000 US-Dollar auf Steuerzahlerkosten nicht ausreichend sein, weil noch Steuern und Abgaben wie die sogenannte Mansion-Tax, potentielle Umbau- und Renovierungskosten, usw. hinzukommen.
Und drittens wird von Seiten der EU dieser Immobiliendeal mit den drakonischen Covid-Restriktionen in New York begründet. Exakt von derselben EU, die ihre Bürger selbst mit dem EU-Covid-Zertifikat, ausufernder mRNA-Impfstoffanschaffung und zunehmender Machtaneignung ihrer Freiheit beraubt.
Gut, dass die EU auch diesbezüglich wenigstens eine Doppelmoral hat, sonst hätte sie nämlich gar keine Moral.“

Well over 18 million US dollars, or 16.7 million euros, for a 543-square-metre official residence: that is the obscene bid submitted by the EU External Action Service for the future townhouse of the Head of the EU Delegation to the United Nations.

The budgetary spokesperson of the AfD delegation in the EU Parliament, Joachim Kuhs, draws attention to this and announces:
"I am voting against! First of all, we advocate a Europe of nations and fatherlands that, for example, cooperate economically but can still act freely and independently. If one thinks this forward-looking approach further, the EU would have no representation in New York.
Secondly, 18,000,000 US dollars at taxpayers' expense might not be enough, because taxes and levies such as the so-called mansion tax, potential conversion and renovation costs, etc. have to be added.
And thirdly, the EU justifies this real estate deal with the draconian Covid restrictions in New York. Exactly by the same EU that is itself depriving its citizens of their freedom with the EU Covid certificate, rampant mRNA vaccine acquisition and increasing usurpation of power.
It's a good thing that the EU has at least a double standard in this regard too, otherwise it would have no standards at all."
