Gunnar Beck, EU-Abgeordneter der AfD und Vizevorsitzender der Fraktion Identität & Demokratie, begrüßte am Dienstag den griechischen Ministerpräsidenten Kyriakos Mitsotakis im EU-Parlament:

„Ich danke dem Premierminister für die fortgesetzten Bemühungen der griechischen Regierung, Europa gegen die Einwanderungsinvasion zu verteidigen. Wie die 300 Spartaner in Thermopylae sind die griechische Küstenwache und Armee der Außenposten der westlichen Zivilisation. Sie verdienen unsere volle Unterstützung.

Die AfD und die Fraktion „Identität & Demokratie“ bekunden ihre wärmste Solidarität mit dem griechischen Volk angesichts der anhaltenden Drohungen aus Ankara. Das EU-Parlament sollte klar sagen, dass die territoriale Integrität Griechenlands, einschließlich aller seiner Inseln, die der territorialen Integrität Europas entspricht, von größter Bedeutung ist.“

Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis: Continue defending Europe against immigration invasion!

Gunnar Beck, AfD MEP and Vice-Chair of the Identity & Democracy Group, welcomed Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis to the EU Parliament on Tuesday:

"I thank the Prime Minister for the Greek government's continued efforts to defend Europe against the immigration invasion. Like the 300 Spartans at Thermopylae, the Greek coastguard and army are the sentries of Western civilisation. They deserve our full support.

The AfD and the Identity & Democracy Group express their warmest solidarity with the Greek people in the face of the ongoing threats from Ankara. The EU Parliament should clearly state that Greece's territorial integrity, including all of its islands, is of utmost importance as it corresponds to Europe's territorial integrity."
